The client’s main concern is sustainability with this system.  We have decided on a system using a database to pull the values for each level of the multi level ordering/quoting system.   The client is finalizing the list of options and prices for each one of his main categories.   I have a firm commitment from the client for a Friday March 13^th deadline.  This will allow me to spend this week working on my action plan laid out below.  This screen is really still in its infancy due to the client changing his mind on the vertical vs. horizontal layout.   The client has also committed to a March 13^th deadline for the color scheme from the logo he is creating.

By Friday March 13^th

·         Finish (new) database diagram based on information for the client.

By Friday March 20^th:

·         Populate database and begin working on live customer views

·         Finalize backend for database management.

Mockup 1

With regards to the mockup, the client has decided to go a different rount.  He would like to have a more suddle approach, consisting of large boxes for each product type, and a top-down form design.  While this does pose a minor setback, it should be noted that all database and back end designs are ready to go, and will not be changing moving forward.
